Hazel and Trevor on the terrace

Following a meeting with Hazel Blears, our local MP, Hazel invited Trevor onto the terrace at the House of Commons for a photo shoot with his recent MBE, which was awarded for his services to the communities of Greater Manchester. Also pictured are Mike from Proud City and Edna Robinson, adviser to Hazel and DCLG (Department for Communities and Local Government). Amongst his many projects, Trevor had been part of an Active Community Unit working group (Formerly a Home Office unit and now part of DCLG) that produced a national framework for active learning for active citizenship (ALAC). This Take Part network was formed from this and is now working in an alliance with Proud City and its partners.
